Long Island runs on long days. Between the commute, the kids, the gym, and everything else, cooking a fresh dinner five nights a week is a tall order. Fresh meal delivery fixes that without sending you back to takeout.
What fresh meal delivery actually is
Fresh meal delivery means finished, chef-cooked meals brought to your door, ready to heat and eat. It is different from a meal kit, which sends raw ingredients and a recipe for you to cook. It is also different from a delivery app, which brings restaurant food that is rarely portioned for your goals.
With Eat Better Meals, the food is cooked in our Farmingdale kitchen, packed cold, and delivered across Nassau, Suffolk, and into New York City. You keep it in the fridge and heat a meal when you are ready.
What to look for in a Long Island meal service
A few things separate a good local service from a national box. Look for food that is fresh rather than frozen, portions you can track, clean ingredients with seed-oil-free options, and a delivery schedule that actually fits your week.
Local matters here. A kitchen on the Island can cook and deliver within days, so the food tastes like it was just made. Meals shipped frozen from across the country cannot say the same.
How the delivery schedule works
Our delivery runs twice a week. Order Friday through Monday and your box arrives Wednesday. Order Tuesday through Thursday and it arrives Sunday. You can order online anytime, and you always know when your food will land.
Getting started
Start by browsing the menu and picking a few meals for the week, including breakfast and a side if you like. We cook them fresh and deliver on your next delivery day. See how it works, then order this week's menu.
